Working With Us

Against the backdrop of dramatic change within the UK, in the approach to the care and welfare of Older People, Kid Rapt Limited continues to supply accident reduction and welfare initiatives throughout the UK, with equipment, information, advice and services. We have and continue to, work closely with local authorities, PCT's, charities and many other locally and nationally funded groups.

We specialise in supplying targeted products for specific types of project, whether it be Burns and Scalds, Domestic Security, or Falls prevention. Funding is often allocated in these dedicated streams and as far as you, the client is concerned, justification, monitoring and measurement of the success of a project, can all be part of the brief. We believe that dedicated targeting of equipment helps with these processes.

Our clients benefit from the experience we have built up over many years of servicing similar schemes. Very often we can advise on best practice and we can put people in touch with similar projects around the country.

We are active in many area`s of home safety, and work closely with the likes of RoSPA and The Institute of Home Safety. Such links enable us to be aware of current issues, be they practice or product related. We attend conferences, workshops and seminars, again to ensure that we are up to speed with best practices and the latest thinking. We are happy to share this information with those who choose to work with us or to use us as a preferred supplier.

We are also in a position to carry out bespoke studies and sourcing exercises into new and/or alternative products and equipment. Being an independent, privately owned company, we have a free rein on sourcing. You will get an unbiased, objective view from us.

As the safety message is now being taken on by a much wider audience, our business continues to develop through groups like Trading Standards, Asylum Support teams, Environmental Health, Fire Authorities, Home Improvement Agencies, Arms Length Management Organisation`s and Housing Associations.

Going forward, we see and fully support, more inter-agency working, with an increased emphasis on keeping people in their own homes for longer, thus giving people a sense of independence and reducing the cost to the NHS and other Social Services. Continuation of this process will further `blur` the edge between Accident Reduction and Care and will define a more welfare based service, focused on client choice.

Kid RaptHere at Kid Rapt, we have a team of customer focused individuals, empowered to make decisions on a day to day basis, with the main objective of supporting the work of our clients. Feedback from our clients confirms that we operate differently to all other suppliers in this field. We encourage a proactive approach with both customers and suppliers and we are always ready to discuss options, ideas and alternative approaches to established routes.

On a more personal note, it is interesting to think that the standards set during the life of the present National Service Framework will set the precedent for what many of us can expect as we go through to retirement.

Lets aim to make it as good as possible!
